Boora Architects

On June 1st, Boora staff traveled to Vernonia to help landscape the nearly complete Vernonia K-12 school.  Due to funding delays, the majority of the new school’s landscaping had been put on hold until funds become available.  On the search for a firm-wide volunteer effort, Boora staff chose to donate time and manpower to the school – planting nearly 200 plants and trees in a single morning.

“It’s a small contribution to what has been an incredibly community-oriented project,” said Chris Linn, principal at Boora. “This town has been through so much; our staff was excited to pitch in and help span the temporary gap in funding. We want to provide the best possible experience for students on day one.”
