Boora Architects

Boora has been selected by Earlham College to design their new Fine and Performing Arts Complex.

The project will renovate the existing arts area of the Runyan Student Center, including a new black box theatre, and add 30,000 square feet of new construction.  New spaces envisioned include visual art studios, gamelan and jazz studios, a large rehearsal and performance room and practice rooms.  Each department will retain a distinct identity within the complex while sharing common lobby and outdoor space, creating a unified identity for Earlham Arts.

The Arts Building will establish a southern edge for the campus’s main quad, forming a dynamic and interactive gateway to the campus.

The renovation and addition project is based on an initial expansion study completed by Boora in 2005.
