Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center Opens in West Texas November 2, 2011 - The Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center in Midland Odessa, Texas celebrated its completion with a gala event November 1. Reviews of the facility, which rises dramatically above the West Texas landscape, have praised the striking design, the quality materials and the exceptional acoustics. The 97,000 sf project features an 1,800 seat main hall and a 200 seat recital hall as well as academic and rehearsal space. The opening of Wagner Noel marks a new era for the region which has dreamed of a performing arts center for over 50 years. Boora lead the design of the facility and collaborated with local architects, Rhotenberry Wellen. |
