This integrated arts complex is a vital node in the Fine Arts Precinct on the Virginia Tech campus. Located along a busy boundary between the campus and neighborhood, the renovated and expanded home for music, art and drama advances the precinct’s identity within the campus and the larger community.

The 36,000-square-foot facility includes faculty and graduate student offices, graphic design studios, computer labs, a lighting design studio, a scenic design studio, a lecture hall, a slide library, and multimedia presentation rooms.

Acoustically isolated music faculty studios and music practice rooms fill the remainder of the renovated space.

A new 8,000-square-foot theater replaces an existing parking lot to the southeast of Henderson Hall. A rehearsal room, dressing rooms, a control room and support spaces complement the black box theater.
