Part of a second phase of improvements on the multi-building campus, this 144,000-square-foot infill expansion adds program area and unites several previously disconnected core buildings. New construction fills an underutilized central courtyard, forming a new academic and social center for the school that includes space for a new commons/ cafeteria, classrooms, media center, student services, administration, counseling, and main circulation. |

New high-bay spaces create a dynamic academic environment through scale, volume, color, and daylight. Wide window expanses foster connection to the surrounding natural environment while a central courtyard provides daylight and natural ventilation opportunities. |

Featuring a dynamic gallery display wall, the new circulation spine is arrayed in a kaleidoscope of red, blue, and green and lit by a long series of skylights. The spine bisects the newly-joined building with administration, counseling services, the primary student commons, outdoor courtyards, and access to the second floor. |

A 550-seat theater and support space complete the detached performing arts center building and a new freestanding, full-height gymnasium augments the small, low-ceilinged gym. |
