The client for this human resources office environment challenged Boora to create a transformational place that measurably improves productivity and happiness and fosters innovation. |
The research pointed to a few clear design directives:
– Make every place a place to work with a wider range of choices in where and how to work – Provide places for quiet work and reflection – Build community and breakdown silos – Provide increased access to nature – Foster greater personal ownership and experimentation |
The resulting design direction treats the work environment as a laboratory for workplace innovation. Office neighborhoods are open, flexible, and light filled with team brainstorming hubs. Nooks and writable wall surface line the core walls supporting adjacent teams. Amenities are distributed to encourage movement throughout the building and increase team connection from floor to floor. Amenities include a library, sky lounge, relaxation zones, fitness center, conference center, game room, and cafes. |
