Architects: BOORA seeks team-oriented individuals with a balance of technical knowledge, design ability, communication skills, and leadership qualities. Specifically BOORA looks for:
- Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited school of architecture.
- Ability to contribute in all phases of design from programming and concepts through construction administration.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of architectural and engineering components of buildings and their interrelationships.
- Experience in performing assignments of substantial variety and complexity for educational, cultural, recreational, institutional, retail and medical projects.
- Verbal, written, graphic, model-building and AutoCAD skills necessary to communicate concepts and solutions to team members, clients, consultants, and contractors
- Pertinent non-work experience (i.e. community service, travels, special expertise or knowledge of a particular architectural market sector or geographic market, etc.)
Interior Architects and Interior Designers: BOORA seeks team-oriented individuals with a balance of technical knowledge, design ability, communication skills, and leadership qualities. As integral members of design teams, interior designers must have a strong architectural project background. Specifically we look for:
- Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited school of Architecture, Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- Ability to contribute in all phases of design from programming and concepts through construction administration.
- Prior architectural project experience including space planning and colors/materials expertise.
- Technical knowledge architectural construction documents and specifications.
- Experience in performing assignments of substantial variety and complexity for educational, cultural, recreational, institutional, retail and medical projects.
- Verbal, written, graphic, model-building and AutoCAD skills to communicate concepts and solutions to team members, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Pertinent non-work experience (i.e. community service, travel, special expertise or knowledge of a particular architectural market sector or geographic market, etc.)
Architectural or Interior Design Interns: BOORA annually seeks top graduates for placement in intern positions.
