At 225 feet tall, The Metropolitan is the tallest building in Portland’s Pearl District, offering sweeping views of the neighborhood, city, and region around it. The unique design limits building height to 100 feet on three of the site’s four quadrants, allowing the spaces located on the remaining quadrant to be organized into a slender tower. These spaces include the main lobby on the ground level and the majority of the building’s units on the floors above. The tower’s slender proportions allow each unit to be a corner unit, maximizing views and daylight. Unit interiors include stone slab kitchens and bathrooms, high quality wood floors and casework, fixtures and fittings of the highest quality, and wool carpets. |

The Metropolitan is located in the Pearl District in Portland, Oregon, is one of America’s most recognized urban neighborhood redevelopments. Hoyt Street Properties, the Pearl District’s largest landowner and developer, owns 34 acres in the neighborhood and has completed 13 developments to date, offering an eager market over 2,000 housing units. These have included condominium lofts, apartment units, and affordable housing units. Hoyt Street Properties’s developments also include over 100,000 square feet of ground floor retail space, primarily aimed at boutique retailers. |
